ABBYY Lingvo 11 "Six Languages" Dictionary supports 10 translation directions: Russian-English, English-Russian, Russian-German, German-Russian, Russian-French, French-Russian, Russian-Italian, Italian-Russian, Russian-Spanish and Spanish-Russian. This version contains more than 12 million translations in its 101 dictionaries and includes tools for creating dictionaries for any language combinations.

Fast translation in both directions and word-by-word translation. The search for the right translation through all dictionaries takes only few seconds. By selecting a sentence and pressing Ctrl+Ins+Ins, Lingvo 11 will display a list of the meanings of the separate words in it regardless of grammatical form.

Learning tools for improving language skills. All dictionary entries contain transcription, stress marks and usage examples.

Lingvo Tutor. Lingvo Tutor is an application designed to help language learners memorise new words. Users can feed its lists of words they wish to learn and Lingvo Tutor will create “flash cards,” a very effective method for memorising new words.

Translations on the go. Lingvo can be installed on PC as well as on Palm and Pocket PC handheld devices and now even on a Smartphone, which enables you to use the electronic dictionary wherever you go.
